One Day Professional Development Seminar / Workshop

General Objective:  To provide a regional development activity for English teachers.

Specific Objectives:

- To explore effective ways to use in-class activities to stimulate English communication skills.                           - To examine teaching strategies and plan the implementation of one new strategy with current classes. - To share needs for future development sessions.

Methodology:  This day-long workshop is  designed for English teachers in the provinces of the Republic of Panama.

Topics related to a pertinent EFL/ESL development theme will be presented using an active methodology in which all members of the participant group interact in a dynamic way. 

Individual participation will be coordinated with group and pair dynamics. 

Analysis and application activities are designed to foster reflection and future implementation by participating teachers.
