Panama TESOL

 Joanne Pyra has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.  She has worked at the university level as well as in the call center industry.  She currently works as an ESL Specialist at the International School of Panama.

Zuleika Zapateiro was born in Panama city,  graduated from the University of Panama and Universidad Latina. She has been teaching English since 1995 up to now. She has taught at elementary , high school and college level. Besides, she  has experience working and teaching in private and public educative institutions.  She has been participating and working with Panama Tesol since September 2010.

Carmen Pile

Currently, Carmen Pile is the English supervisor at Panama Centro Regional Center. She was graduated from the University of Panama with a B.A. in English. She also holds a Master degree with honors in TESOL and a Master degree in School Administration. Carmen Pile has worked for the Ministry of Education for 39 years. Since 2003, Carmen Pile has been a professor at CRUSAM where she teaches at the English Department.  She is a founder member of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society for key Panamanian women educators.

Joel Alvarez Gonzalez holds a B.A. in ESL from the University of Panama. He also holds a Masters degree in TESOL from Universidad Latina de Panama and a Masters degree in Higher Education from the University of Panama. Joel has taught English to children, teenagers and adults. He is currently the teaching English project manager at Peace Corps, Panama.

Mireya Atín has 22 years of experience teaching English as a second language at the Ministry of Education as well as in some private schools.  She has taught all the levels.  She holds a Master in Business Administration from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología, a Master of Art in TESOL  from College of Notre Dame and a degree in Higher Education from Universidad de Panama. She is currently teaching at Instituto Jose Dolores Moscote.
